Nineteen ramblers assembled on the picturesque village green in Hankelow for a circular walk led by John D. The walk followed good paths and tracks together with a brief stretch along the Shropshire Union Canal towpath. The stiles were mainly in good repair, although some were a little awkward to negotiate.  After the walk, several of us enjoyed refreshments and a chat at the White Lion PH a stone's throw from where we were parked.
