Twenty five walkers joined Alan B for this morning's circular walk from Gillow Heath along field paths and through woodland. The weather was mild so that the elevated section along Congelton Edge provided good aerial views of both the Biddulph valley and the Cheshire plain. We had an unexpected guest at our coffee break and the beer garden of the Staffordshire Knot PH proved very hospitable at the end of the event.
