Keeping our network of paths open so people can easily access local routes requires a helping hand from time to time - and this is where Hexham Ramblers steps in!
We train volunteers to replace stiles or other structures (in accordance with health and safety protocols for the county council and Ramblers) and organise stile repair days in conjunction with the county council and local farmers.
Recent events involved replacing stiles near Hexham, Featherstone and Ninebanks. Currently we are repairing a series of stiles near Whitley Chapel. If you'd like to join us in this important work, please get in touch with Julia F. via the e-mail link above.
