Accommodation
Proposal is to stay at the Premier Inn in Polegate which is near the railway station on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Please can you book your own accommodation and that enables everyone to choose between non-refundable / refundable pricing options. At the date of writing 3 nights came to £191 on a non-refundable basis for a Double or £209 for a twin.
Walks on the Friday and Monday to be finalised but plan would be to do a walk starting 1pm/ 2pm on the Friday and on the Monday morning a walk finishing by 1pm, both allowing those travelling on the day from Northampton to avoid rush hour traffic.
Saturday walk:
Polegate to Eastbourne with option to extend via Beachy Head 8 miles (or 12 miles)
Sunday walk:
Walk from near Firle to Alfriston and back 12 miles with option to spend afternoon in Alfriston for anyone wanting a more relaxing time reducing walk to circa 6 miles.
