We are planning another group holiday in the UK from Friday 24 - Monday 27 September 2027. This will be at Gunton Hall, which is set in 55 acres of Suffolk woodland with a five-acre lake and is just a short walk to the beach.  Southwold, the Norfolk Broads and Orford Ness National Nature Reserve are nearby. Breakfast and dinner are included in the cost of the weekend, which will be around £270 per person for those sharing a room. Single occupancy rooms start at the same price, but will depend on how many people require single occupancy rooms and whether we reach the magic number of 20 to obtain the group discount. We will be restricting single room booking requests to members of Woking Ramblers this year initially. If you are not a member of Woking group and would like a single room, please email and, when Woking members have been allocated rooms, we will advise you of the cost of a single room.  Full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable once the booking has been made.  Please also read the Ramblers disclaimer below.

We are planning to offer a choice of 2 walks each day (a shorter one at a more gentle pace and a longer one) on Saturday and Sunday and on Monday morning.

Ramblers Disclaimer re Holiday Payments

This is the Ramblers disclaimer:

"When payments are made for events such as holidays from Ramblers accounts, this is only for convenience purposes and in order to plan appropriately. Therefore, in the event an activity is cancelled or for whatever reason does not take place the Ramblers is not liable for other organisations' financial situations or operational management and will not be responsible for any form of reimbursement to participants in that activity."

Payments to the holiday provider will not be made on a credit card, so, if you wish to protect yourself against a possible holiday company failure, you will need to take out holiday insurance which covers you in a situation where you have no contract with the holiday provider.
