| Details | Whiteleaf Cross 8.5 miles - moderate If you are all prepared, here’s an opportunity to build up an appetite before the festivities. A fairly hilly walk at a moderate pace through and along the edge of woodland, Hampden House, Little Hampden Common, through the Chequers Estate, the Grangelands and Rifle Range Nature reserve and an opportunity for a festive drink toward the end, at the famous Plough at Cadsden before returning to Whiteleaf Hill through the valley called The Hangings. Please bring packed lunch. Well behaved dogs are allowed. |
