Down the lanes and through fields to Marlin Chapel now ruins built in the 13th century and back through Hockeridge Wood to see the Wellingtonia Tree in Wellingtonia Avenue (a woodland track) These special woods were gifted by the Duke of Wellington's great grand-daughter to The Royal Forestry Society.  The trees are mostly beech but there are some non-native trees.
