Details Brechfa - Byrgwm forest walk

Lovely woodlands and great views of the Cothi valley on this half-day relaxed walk in the Brechfa forest.

We'll follow well-marked footpaths from the car park up into the woods, enjoying the clean air among the trees.  There are huge Douglas firs as well as Norway spruce, with lichen and fungi, ferns and bilberry.

There will be mud, of course, with tree roots and fallen branches.  You'll need good footwear and waterproofs, while walking poles are a great help on the steeper areas.
