| Details | Cardrona to Peebles Riverside walk This is a flat 3.5 mile walk along the old railway line between Cardrona village and Peebles. It is a tarmac path all the way. We will meet at the Biggar Corn Exchange at 9.15, then travel to Peebles, park at the main car park over the bridge and catch the X62, Galashiels bus at 10.15 outside Peebles post office. We will alight from the bus in Cardrona and join the path which will take us back into Peebles. As the walk is short, we will only have a coffee break so please bring a hot drink and a snack. I expect the walk to last 2.5 hours. |
